From Curry Ono to Kamome
Our restaurant was established in 2011 as Curry Ono, Japanese Kitchen in Brixton, one of the most multi-cultural area in London. We initially specialised in Japanese curry, which is milder than the Indian variety from which it originates. Curry was first introduced to Japan by the British navy in the 19th century and is now a popular staple. Over the years, we have gradually refined our menu, responding to the preferences of our customers as a founding member of Brixton’s cosmopolitan foodie community.
